Alianza Lima is a Peruvian football club based in Lima, Peru. Paolo Guerrero, born on January 1, 1984, is a Peruvian professional football player who played as a striker for Alianza Lima in the early days of his career. He made his professional debut for Alianza Lima in 2002 and played for the club until 2003.
Guerrero is considered to be one of the best Peruvian footballers of all time and has played for some of the top clubs in the world, including Bayern Munich, Hamburg, and Corinthians. He is also the all-time leading scorer for the Peruvian national team, with 38 goals in 100 appearances.
Despite only spending a short period at Alianza Lima, Guerrero is still regarded as a club legend. He helped the club to win the Peruvian Primera División title in 2003, scoring six goals in 14 appearances. Guerrero's impressive performances during his time at Alianza Lima helped him to secure a move to Europe, where he went on to enjoy a highly successful career.
